Daniel Dror
Chairman of the Board / C.E.O.

Mr. Dror has a long history of serving as Chairman and CEO of several public companies.  Mr. Dror has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of American International Industries, Inc. (American) since September 1997. From 1982 until 1993, Mr. Dror served as Chairman of the Board and Executive Officer of Kleer-Vu Industries, Inc., a public company traded on the Amex.  From April 1994 to 1997, Mr. Dror served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of CXR/Microtel, an international company traded on the Amex.  Mr. Dror served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Hammonds Industries, Inc. a public company and formerly a subsidiary of American from June 1997 until December 31, 2008. 

S. Scott Gaille
President

Mr. Gaille is an executive and attorney experienced in the petroleum industry, business development and regulation.  From July 2008 to the present, Mr. Gaille has been Managing Director of the Sequent Group, which includes among other portfolio companies.  Sequent Asset Management, LLC, a multi-family investment office with approximately $300 million under management.  He also has been an Adjunct Professor of Management at Rice University in Houston, Texas from 2008 to the present, where he teaches International Energy Development to MBA students.  From August 2007 to the present, Mr. Gaille has been President of West & East Africa, a private equity venture he founded that acquired and divested interests in four Sub-Saharan African petroleum licenses.  Previously, Mr. Gaille was Director - Business Development for Occidental Oil & Gas Corporation from July 2004 to August 2007.  His responsibilities there included starting and growing new business units in  Africa, the Middle East and South America.  Prior to assuming his duties as Director - Business Development, Mr. Gaille held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Oxy commercial and legal departments from October 2001 to July 2004.  Before joining Oxy, Mr. Gaille practiced law with the Energy Section of Vinson & Elkins from July 1996 to October 2001 and with the Honorable Chief Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, III of the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, where he served as Judicial Clerk during the court's 1995-1996 judicial term.  Mr. Gaille was an Olin Fellow in Law and Economics at the University of Chicago, where he received his Doctor of Law Degree with High Honors in 1995 and attended undergraduate college at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with High Honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Sherry L. McKinzey
Vice President / C.F.O.

Ms. McKinzey has served as Chief Financial Officer (C.F.O.) of American International since June 1, 2007, and has been with American International since August 1, 2006.  Ms. McKinzey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama, and she has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986.  She has held positions in both public and industry accounting.  Prior to joining American International, Ms. McKinzey worked at El Paso Corporation for 14 years as a supervisor for various accounting departments and as a training and development consultant.

Rebekah Laird-Ruthstrom
Secretary / Treasurer

Ms. Laird-Ruthstrom has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Assistant of American International since February 1998. From July 1994 to April 1997, Ms. Laird-Ruthstrom served as Executive Assistant of Microtel International, Inc. Between 1982 and 1993, Ms. Laird-Ruthstrom served as Executive Assistant of Kleer-Vu Industries, Inc.

Charles R. Zeller
Director

Mr. Zeller is President of his own company, RealAmerica Corporation, a developer of residential subdivisions including Cardiff Estates, an 800 acres subdivision in Houston and Estate of Gulf Crest in downtown Pearland. He has over 35 years of experience as a real estate broker, investor and developer. Mr. Zeller has purchased and sold properties including shopping centers, office buildings, and apartment complexes. He is an expert in real estate acquisitions and financing.  Mr. Zeller served as President of T.R.E. Enterprises, Inc. (TREE) and MidCity Houston Properties, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of TREE, from July 1999 to February 2004.  Mr. Zeller has served as Director of American International since December 2000.

Thomas J. Craft, Jr.
Director

Mr. Craft is an attorney who specializes in federal securities laws and also mergers and acquisitions. He practices securities law in Florida and with an office in New York City. Mr. Craft has vast experience in the securities field as well as the market place in general, and serves on the board of directors of several public companies. Mr. Craft has served as Director of American International since November 2002.

Robert W. Derrick, Jr.
Director

Mr. Derrick has served as a Director of American International since February 2004. Mr. Derrick has been the President of Delta Seaboard International, Inc. since September 2002, and was Vice President of Delta from December 1989 until September 2002.

Scott Wolinsky
Director

Mr. Wolinsky has over 10 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, both foreign and domestic.  He currently serves as Senior Patent Agent at the law firm of Volpe and Koenig P.C. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Between January 1994 and January 2000, Mr. Wolinsky was a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.  Mr. Wolinsky is listed as an inventor on 8 patents and 21 patent applications.  He is the President of Subsea IP Holdings LLC and has served as a Director of American International since July 2010.
